Rhythmed by routines and ticking clocks, Nicole and Alberte have lived for half a century on the shores of Lake Geneva, in a large house with an unchanging décor. Nicole whom no one ever imagined living alone and Alberte, devoted to her daughter yet terrified at the thought of being separated from her, form a duo that makes one’s head spin. Faced with the inertia of their situation, Lauren, Alberte’s granddaughter, grows closer to her aunt Nicole. Together, they search for creative paths toward emancipation.
